Al-'Adiyat
وَٱلۡعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبۡحٗا1
By the racers, panting1
فَٱلۡمُورِيَٰتِ قَدۡحٗا2
And the producers of sparks [when] striking2
فَٱلۡمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبۡحٗا3
And the chargers at dawn3
فَأَثَرۡنَ بِهِۦ نَقۡعٗا4
Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust4
فَوَسَطۡنَ بِهِۦ جَمۡعًا5
Arriving thereby in the center collectively5
إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٞ6
Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful6
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٞ7
And indeed, he is to that a witness7
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ لَشَدِيدٌ8
And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense8
۞أَفَلَا يَعۡلَمُ إِذَا بُعۡثِرَ مَا فِي ٱلۡقُبُورِ9
But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered9
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي ٱلصُّدُورِ10
And that within the breasts is obtained10
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّخَبِيرُۢ11
Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted11
